Framework Characteristics The first key characteristic of the SuNliving framework is collaborative engagement. Collaboration is at the heart of this approach, engaging diverse groups of individuals at every step of the project. Collaborative engagement allows for all unique viewpoints and skills at the table to filter into the planning and design process. Stakeholders agree to cooperate wherever possible to achieve synergies and system solutions thereby supporting the best outcome. The figure on the facing page indicates the activities in each SuNliving step where stakeholders come together to collaborate in achieving specific tasks.
