STEP 5: IMPLEMENT
OVERVIEW
The major milestone of this final step of the SuNliving Work Plan is the completion of the SuNliving Implementation Manual. This working document is ready for use by all those involved in implementing this sustainable neighbourhood project. By the end of this step, the implementation manual has been passed forward to all implementation teams. Integrated design teams are poised to prepare the detailed design and engineering plans required to obtain municipal approvals and commence construction.
Task 17: Prepare SuNliving Implementation Manual
The SuNliving Implementation Manual is a compilation of the master concept plan, the course of action and the guidelines for establishing a program to foster sustainable living. This document guides those tasked with implementing this sustainable neighbourhood project.
Task 18: Deliver Final Presentation
The charrette team shares the master concept plan and the SuNliving Implementation Manual with the broader stakeholder group and the community.
Task 19: Establish Implementation Teams
Project and municipal implementation teams are established to ensure the development remains true to the overall mission, vision and goals.
Task 20: Pass the SuNliving Implementation Manual Forward
The project is passed forward to the implementation teams with workshops on applying the implementation manual.
